It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly 2.5 years since I was hospitalized for acute pneumonia. I was put into an induced coma for four days and spent a total of 35 days in the hospital. When I woke up, I lost the use of my right arm. The photo on the left shows me about four months after that, with no movement. The photo on the right is me today—I can move my arm, but there’s still a lot progress to be made.

I feel incredibly fortunate to be alive; I faced life-threatening moments in the hospital. I truly believe God had a different plan for me. He said, “It’s not your time yet; you still have a mission on Earth.” It took me over two years to realize that I’m meant to spread the word of the gospel.

I’ve been working towards this mission by transforming my podcast into a faith-based platform and rebranding my company to reflect those values. I’m actively sharing the gospel on social media and while networking. I also joined the Million Dollar Mancave, a faith-based group for men. 🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! As we celebrate 250 years of freedom, let’s take a moment to remember that this freedom wasn’t free. Many brave men and women made the ultimate sacrifice so that we could enjoy the liberties we have today.

Every day, I wake up grateful for the freedom that allows us to pursue our dreams and live authentically. This July 4th, as we commemorate America’s 250th birthday, let’s also reflect on the deeper meaning of freedom found in our faith.

Our greatest freedom is in Jesus Christ. While nations rise and fall and traditions evolve, God’s love and promises remain steadfast. Today, let’s honor those who protected our country and pray for wisdom and truth in our hearts, families, and nation.

Let’s celebrate with joy, give thanks with humility, and remember that true freedom is not just about doing what we want, but living for the One who set us free. May our lives be marked by faith, kindness, and hope as we honor both our country and our Savior.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who reached out and sent their well wishes regarding my surgery on Thursday. Your support has truly lifted my spirits! I’m recovering well and focusing on getting plenty of rest.

For those who have asked about my journey: it’s been a challenging couple of years since I got sick 2 1/2 years ago. I lost the use of my right arm completely and couldn’t even move it. After many tests, I discovered I have major nerve damage from my shoulder down to my fingers, which has caused a lot of pain. Initially, many doctors thought it might resolve on its own, but unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. The pain has been constant from the day I left the hospital until now.

My recent surgery involved placing a nerve stimulator, which includes a battery pack in my back with leads running up my spinal cord into my shoulder. The goal is to relieve the pain by sending signals to my brain. However, I faced some complications; the battery and leads shifted, requiring me to go back in for repairs.

I’m especially thankful for Melissa, who has been an incredible support during this time. She’s been taking great care of me over the last few days, as the area where the battery pack is placed can be quite painful, and moving around is tough.

Thank you all for being there for me. Your kindness means the world! ❤️✨
